
Volunteers are critical to the running of NCAC home swim meets. We couldn't do it without you! Please take a minute to look over the job descriptions and volunteer for a position you would enjoy! There are several positions to choose from so scroll down to view them all.

Hospitality-Here is where the coaches,meet officials and volunteers take a break and grab a bite to eat or drink. NCAC's Hospitality suite is renowned for having the best food and teams love to come to our meets because of this. Responsibilities include setting up meals, drinks, and snacks; maintaining and refreshing the food and beverages; periodically running food and beverages out on the pool deck for officials, coaches, and timers; clean-up. A wonderful benefit to working the hospitality suite is you are easily available to watch your kids swim and not miss any part of your job!
Timers-This job is for anyone who can start and stop a stop-watch. The meet can't run without timers and it's an easy job which allows you to be right down in the action!
Concessions-This is a great place to enjoy the cooler part of the aquatic center. The job includes selling snacks to swimmers and their families.
Ribbon Writer-This is where all the gold is! Ribbon writers peel and stick-stickers on the backs of ribbons and place them in their custom research papers team's bag. Ribbon writers are right down on the pool deck and can have that on-deck experience of watching your swimmer swim!
T-Shirt/Heat Sheet Sales-This is the job for you if you want to enjoy the cooler part of the aquatic center! Your job includes selling meet heat sheets and T-shirts-it's that easy!
Deck Security-Sits at entrance to pool deck checking credentials of coaches, officials and volunteers.
Set up/Take down Crew-Your job is to get the pool ready for the meet by among other things, putting chairs out for the swimmers and officials. For take down, you'll help put chairs away and pick up lost and found and any left over trash.
Runners-This is a fun job if you don't like to sit still. Take the results, make copies, post for swimmers and spectators. There's plenty of time to watch your swimmers race!
Announcer- This person will add energy to the meet by announcing swimmers and events. This is a fun job which boasts prime seating at the anouncer's table!
